Job Description

• Should be adept to ideate quickly and know how to bend current UI/App trends into unique, exciting designs. Should have experience designing across both game and app experiences. 
  
• Should be able to relish the opportunity to work on a small, efficient team that includes folks from product and engineering. 
  
• At least 2 years of digital product design experience 
  
• A portfolio demonstrating the ability to produce detailed and documented wireframes of appropriate design solutions 
  
• Previous experience with mobile applications and understanding of current mobile platforms and general best practices in interface and interaction design 
• A passion for creating digital things and owning all aspects within that creation to the best of your abilities

Qualifications

Mandatory qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience designing for the web OR Bachelor's degree in web design or related field
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks, Dreamweaver)
• Strong typography, grid-based layout and clean usable interfaces
• Fluency in HTML5 & CSS3 to write semantic markup
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while adhering to set timelines and budgets
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients
• Borderline obsessive attention to detail
• Ability to take complex tasks and requirements and create simple and clean solutions
• Effective problem solver with the ability to come up with creative solutions
• Must have strong initiative and work ethic to manage competing priorities, and meet critical project deadlines
• Ability to efficiently manage and execute a significant portion of web maintenance
• Online portfolio required

Desired Skills :

• Comfortable understanding basic jQuery
• Familiarity with source control systems like Team Foundation Server (TFS) and content management systems
• Knowledge of LESS, Wordpress, Responsive Web Design, and web frameworks (i.e. HTML5BolierPlate, Bootstrap for Twitter)
