We seek a skilled and experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our IT department. The Senior IT Engineer
will manage and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, provide technical support to in-house
employees and customers and contribute to various IT projects. The ideal candidate should possess
strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of
a team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● To ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security, manage and maintain the
  organisation's IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, SDWAN, Wireless, LAN, WAN
  equipment, and cloud-based services.
● Provide technical support to end-users by troubleshooting hardware and software issues,
  resolving IT problems, and assisting with software installations and upgrades.
● Collaborate with IT team members to design, implement, and support IT solutions that align
  with business needs and objectives.
● Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues or areas for improvement
  to minimise downtime and enhance overall efficiency.
● Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology
  implementations, ensuring timely and successful completion.
● Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and
  procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
● Assist in IT asset management, including hardware and software inventory, license tracking,
 and procurement processes.
● Collaborate with vendors and service providers to obtain support and resolve technical issues.
● Willing to travel globally. Two weeks of travel per month is expected.
KRA AND SCOPE OF WORK
● IT Deployment execution at customer hospitals - Successful planning and execution of the
 deployment of the Smart ICU solution in multiple hospitals across India
● IT Deployment Integration with Customer - Ensure seamless integration
 of the Smart ICU system with the existing IT infrastructure at customer
 hospitals.
● Quality monitoring of the deployment: Monitor and measure the progress of the deployment
  project against set milestones and deliverables.
● Inventory and stock management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment
  required for the Smart ICU deployment. Manage the stock levels to avoid shortages or excess
  inventory during deployment.
● Inhouse IT operations for employees: handle end-user computing, Internet, LAN, WAN,
  wireless, and security devices, including the firewall and SD-WAN technologies.
● Technical support and issue resolution: Provide timely support and assistance to resolve any
  IT-related issues or concerns employees raise.
● Continuous learning and skill development

Education/Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant
  certifications are a plus.
● Proven experience as an IT Engineer, typically 5+ years, with a solid technical background in
  system administration, IT infrastructure and troubleshooting.
● In-depth knowledge of operating systems
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve
  complex IT issues.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with end-users and team
  members.
● Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
● A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing
 solutions.
● Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and evolving IT environment.
Skills
● MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, RHEL any two of the certifications are preferred.
● Sound knowledge and experience on Operating systems like Ubuntu, Windows, Mac, Chrome
● Active directory and SSO hands on experience.
● Email and collaboration tools including Google Suite, O365
● System integration capabilities including Network, SDWAN, technologies
