Role Summary

Main mission
 Accountable for upkeep and maintaining Process and Plant control systems & mechatronics and compliance to operations, per scope for Biologics B2 DP manufacturing facility.
 Accountable for executing and continuously improving any related activity, including functional and people management related
 Upgradation/ modify of Automation projects & CSV Systems.
 Ensure "best in class "design is implementation to deliver a safe and productive environment

Role/Job Description

 Manage Capex budgets to deliver the most optimized economics without compromising on the quality and safety of the facility, work with procurement to ensure vendors delivers the very best in terms of project execution, timeliness quality of material & cost.
 Manage a project schedule and report back to the management regularly on the progress of expansion and rollout.
 To attend FATs of equipment & automation systems
 Implement Strategic initiatives, map & develop the solution as part of infrastructure requirement

 Drive and manage systems related to data back-up management, calibration management, CSV Management, effective maintenance program and equipment breakdown management.
 Life cycle management of electronic systems, executing timely upgrade and/or replacement of accessories for business continuity.
 Manage spares and maintenance items as required, drawings and details and shall keep up with pace of development in automation to maintain systems at BBIL ahead of curve.
 Ensure consistency, standardization, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of approaches while always maintaining compliance
 Manage the team, fostering the right behaviors and mindset, ensure all-time inspection readiness of operations per scope
 Close interaction and coordination with all business functions to ensure effective contribution to BBIL ambition

Key Responsibilities

Technical / Functional Skills

 Understanding of Liquid and Lyophilized Drug Product manufacturing processes and related automation that include different equipment as Batch formulation equipment, filling lines, Lyophilizers, Autoclave, ORAB/CRAB, Isolators etc.
 Thorough understanding of clean rooms facility for DP manufacturing, controlled environment management, sanitary and non-sanitary utilities and building management with the controls and automation requirement.
 Hands-on skills in above mentioned area beyond domain expertise will be an added advantage
 Thorough understanding on Quality compliance requirement and related documentation
Behavioral / Management / Other Skills:

 Ability to make clear decisions, appropriately balancing risks versus consequences
 Strong negotiation skills, able to get the buy-in of multiple stakeholders
 Ability to work under pressure and cope with multiple priorities
 Ability to handle and steer through multi activities
 Ability to lead a technical team, guide them technically
 Strong communication skills, with key stakeholders and client representatives

Educational Qualifications

Required Education Qualification: B.Tech
Required Experience: 7 - 10 years
